Moore Public Schools graciously produced the following video which explains the inherent inequities between the Value Added Model and Student Learning Objective teacher evaluations frameworks.

Moore Public Schools’ message regarding the inequities between Value-Added Model (VAM) and Student Learning Objective (SLO) teachers within the Oklahoma Teacher/Leader Effectiveness (TLE) evaluation framework.

Moore Public Schools presents concerns over equity issues in the VAM/SLO/SOO portion of the OKTLE Teacher Evaluation program.

Since I teach two sections of 7th grade literature, I part of my evaluation will be based on VAM, so I do not have to put together an SLO. However, my effectiveness will be determined by less than 30 percent of the students in my classes.
